Nora Elementary School celebrates student achievement daily. The following honors and programs take place throughout the school year.

STAR Days-At the conclusion of the 1st quarter a feature program will take place in the gymnasium at 9:30 am on the assigned grade levels date. Please join us for an informance of your child’s everyday learning going on in class via a musical production led by Mrs. Gay Talbert, Music Teacher.
The 2nd, 3rd and 4th nine week student celebrations are arranged by the individual teacher and/or grade level.

Students are recognized for their Academic Achievements, Attendance, and Behavior.  Other special recognitions are included at each grade level and vary by age and curriculum differences.

We also have a Principal’s Luncheon at the conclusion of our First and Second Semesters for students recognized by their classroom teacher for going above and beyond each day.

In May, we honor students with our annual MSDWT Personal Best Awards Ceremony, American Funds’ Scholarships (Grade 5 Students) and Art Contest Winners. We also conclude the year with our 2nd semester Principal Luncheon for students being recognized by their classroom teachers.
